LIPO-DDX® is based on a personal algorithm developed by Prof. David Araújo-Vilar. With the support of the University of Santiago de Compostela, the Galego de Saúde Service (SERGAS) and AELIP (International Association of Relatives and People with Lipodystrophy)

LIPO-DDX® is not a diagnostic tool. LIPO-DDX® is a free application to help doctors better characterize the different subtypes of lipodystrophy. HIV-associated lipodystrophy is beyond the scope of this application. LIPO-DDX® will never replace the clinical criteria of a doctor with experience in the field of lipodystrophies.
